R55 have acquired a O.9 Hectare site in Willesden, 2 minutes from Dollis Hill Underground Station for a significant mixed-use development. The site is currently underutilised   with a number of industrial uses generating just 15 full-time jobs. The proposals seek to maximise employment on the site and provide new homes for local people.

 

The development is designed to create two distinct 'quarters'. The retail frontage will accommodate a 2O,OOO ft2 supermarket and gym providing high-quality anchor tenants to kick-start the regeneration of the high street. The 'cultural quarter' will contain co-working / maker-space, a nursery, café / bar and a number of small retail units.

 

The 'cultural quarter' is centred around a courtyard where the various workshop spaces and café will spill out into. Residential cores are also accessed from the courtyard, bringing life and activity to the area and resulting in the development becoming a destination in its own right.
