Alperton is a strategic housing growth area of London located in close proximity to London’s Piccadilly line and the Grand Union Canal. This is the first of a series of sites that R55 has identified and acquired to bring forward for housing in the area.

 

 

The site was a former disused textile warehouse. R55 obtained a residential planning consent for 125 units and two mixed use retail / community units, the development is designed around two intensively landscaped courtyards with a series of landscaped terraces for the use of residents.

 

The scheme is due to commence on site in October 2O16 and has been longlisted for a World Architecture Award for residential development.
